Tactical Vest: Heavy Plate Carrier Modon
Manufactured by Primal Gear, the Modular Plate Carrier vest is made out of durable Cordura 500D. Solid seams and high-quality accessories such as tapes, Velcro, and buckles enhance its resistance and durability.
The Modon tactical vest offers excellent comfort while carrying equipment for low-profile vests. The front and rear panels have space for M-size SAPI dummy inserts and are fully covered with the Molle / PALS system webbing. The front panel flap has room for 3 AR / AK magazines, additionally secured with shock cord. On the back, there are zippers for assault panels or backpacks. Both panels also feature Velcro for attaching patches or other accessories.
The cummerbund consists of two parts. The outer one, fastened under the front flap, has Molle / PALS webbing, and inside it, there is a possibility to insert the Side SAPI. The inner belt stretches from the shoulder blades at the back to the abdomen, fastened under the front panel. It has been additionally stiffened and fitted with special inserts improving comfort, allowing part of the weight, even of a heavily loaded vest, to be transferred towards the user's hips. On its outer side (right and left), under the outer belt, you will find a pouch for an additional magazine or a radio, secured with shock cords.
On the shoulders, there are also comfort pads, fitted with Velcro-adjustable loops for organizing the wiring or a hydration system hose. On both arms, you will also find two handles for the Quick Release system, allowing you to quickly remove the vest. The left arm is equipped with a buckle for the convenience of taking off / putting on the vest.
