MG42 Airsoft machine gun

MG42 Airsoft machine gun

The Airsoft MG42 machine gun replica is another real treat for fans of historical weapons and reenactors. A weapon that in the hands of the soldiers of the Third Reich (but not only!) sowed terror on all fronts of the Second World War and that over the years has acquired cult weapon status.

MG42 WWII Soldier

It is immediately obvious that this is no toy, but a solid piece of metal. The dimensions and details are as close as possible to the original, and thanks to the all-metal construction, the weight is also correct: it weighs almost 7 kg. The only polymer parts are the pistol  grip (just like in the original) and the cartridge magazine in the magazine .

The basic components of this bb machine gun like the receiver, outer barrel and receiver cover were made of a homogenous zinc and aluminium alloy. The bipod, magazine , cocking lever, magazine holder cover and other small parts, such as the sight base and barrel change lever, were made of steel. Everything is painted in matt black, which gives a very realistic impression.

The stock of the bb mg42 machine gun just like the original, is made of painted natural wood. Inside the stock there is space for the battery. The hop-up adjustment lever is located under the receiver cover. The solid steel bipod can be folded down and fixed under the barrel. The original MG42 could be used as an anti-aircraft weapon, so the replica is equipped with a set of AA type sights.

A specially designed and reinforced two-part gearbox was installed to power the 'Hitler's Saw'. Inside is a set of steel gears, a chrome-plated cylinder, a cushioned piston head and 8 mm bushings. In addition, it is equipped with a 600 mm long barrel. The gearbox is equipped with a quick-change spring system.

The MG42 is powered by an electric box magazine , which is a faithful copy of the original one. Its shell is made entirely of steel. The magazine can hold 2500 bullets and is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included).

  • MG42 Replica;
