Tokyo Marui M40A5 Airsoft Sniper Rifle

M40A5 by Tokyo Marui is another nice piece in the world of airsoft. This weapon has been made with another level of development compared to the VSR-10 and L96. One of the main features is the polymer body, which is 1:1 with the real steel weapon. The gun also features a new feeding mechanism, which allows magazine assembly in the same place as the real one. The trigger pack is fully adjustable, providing a suitable response. More of the inner parts were made out of metal, compared to the older models. The M40A5 7.62mm rifle entered service in 2009, gradually replacing the A3 version. The new model differs in the barrel, which is no longer a bull barrel but conical and with a connection for a Surefire hider (and dedicated silencers). Moreover, the stock supplied by MAC Millan has a brand new modular cheek piece that can be adapted to any body size and need. The model made famous by Chris Kyle, who made extensive use of it throughout his career, has been immortalized dozens of times in the film American Sniper. Marui's great work has made it possible to properly replicate the shapes and great versatility of the original model. The butt plate and cheek piece can be adjusted exactly like the original weapon. The newly designed mechanism allows you to place the magazine in the right position with an automatic safety if the magazine is not inserted. The trigger is adjustable to best adapt the shot both in terms of stroke and release weight. A great Marui product for a great airsoft sniper and the discerning collector!
