Specna Arms introduces a rechargeable battery specifically designed for airsoft guns, developed in collaboration with Gens Ace, a renowned battery manufacturer. This partnership has resulted in a unique line of rechargeable batteries that offer several advantages, including shortened cables to save valuable space and a G-Tech plug that is compatible with chargers equipped with a G-Tech socket. Once connected to the G-Tech socket, the charger will automatically recognize the battery within five seconds and select the optimal charging mode.

Lithium-ion-polymer (LiPo) packs are the successors to the well-known lithium-ion (LiIon) packs. The primary advantage of LiPo batteries is their exceptional capacity-to-size ratio. They are compact while maintaining a high current capacity, making them suitable for virtually any AEG replica. LiPo batteries do not suffer from the memory effect, allowing for frequent charging without the need for prior discharge. In fact, frequent charging is beneficial for this type of battery.
Usage and Maintenance Guidelines
- Do not discharge a LiPo pack below 3V per cell or overcharge it above 4.2V per cell.
- LiPo packs have a low self-discharge rate, losing only about 3-5% of their energy per month when not in use.
- Monitor the pack during extended storage to prevent discharge below the permissible minimum value (3V per cell), which can lead to irreversible chemical reactions and potential damage, including ignition.
- An unused LiPo pack should maintain an average charge of approximately 70%.
