AK-PK Machine Gun Replica with Wooden Elements
A long-awaited model of a universal PK machine gun by A&K made from steel and aluminum. The chamber, dust cover, bipod, transport handle and the box magazine were made from steel. Remaining elements such as the external barrel, front sight base, angle joint, gas tube, receiver, iron sights were made from a uniform zinc and aluminum alloy. The pistol grip and stock were made of wood.
The replica features a MOSFET module hidden inside the gas tube and a potentiometer that regulates the replica’s rate of fire. The internal mechanism of the replica is a tested construction gearbox frame is known from other replicas of light machine guns like M249 equipped with steel gears mounted on 8 mm ball bearings. M140 main spring is mounted on a reinforced slide equipped with bearings.
The replica is quite a treat for any enthusiast of Soviet and Russian technological ingenuity as well as all Polish Army reconstruction enthusiasts. It will also be an excellent supplement for a squad, providing good and reliable support for the rest of the team.
